We'll use a BUCKY FOLDER as our source of communication between home and school. The Bucky Folder includes:

STUDENT PLANNER ~ your 2nd grader will write daily assignments here and daily reading done at home. Have your 2nd grade make a note of the books read in the READING section. If he/she likes to keep track of the number of minutes read, there is a recording spot on the bottom of the page. PLEASE SIGN THE PLANNER EACH DAY!

OTHER HOMEWORK - Books borrowed from our classroom or school library; and occasionally an assignment to complete at home for Science, Social Studies, Word Work, or Writing

Notes from the Office and/or community flyers are typically sent home on Fridays.
