4K & 5K Enrollment

Welcome Future Knights!

The Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District serves all of the City of Oak Creek and a 7-square mile area of the City of Franklin.

If you reside within these attendance boundaries, you may begin the two-step enrollment process below. This process is also for families who have been accepted through the
open enrollment program. 

A Note for 4K Families:
After Step 1 and Step 2 of the enrollment process is complete, applications will be reviewed and you will be notified of placement.

A Note for Kindergarten Families:
5K enrollment is required for new students only. Students  who are currently enrolled in our school district's 4K Program will automatically move up to kindergarten.

Within 2 weeks of submitting the application, a  parent or legal guardian will need to bring all required documents listed below to the district office.

* What to bring:

  • Your photo ID (parent or legal guardian)
  • Your child’s original birth certificate 
  • A printed copy of your enrollment application
  • Proof of residency-provide one of the following:    
          Mortgage Statement
          Signed Lease
          Current WE Energies or water bill
          Current-year Property Tax Statement
    (additional proof documents may be requested by the District)
  • Proof of Residency Form 
  • Immunization record (you may download this from the Wisconsin Immunization Registry)  or claim a Waiver, if applicable 
  • 4K Questionnaire 
  • 5K Questionnaire

 * Please note: This list of documents is required for all new students on the application, even if they have been previously enrolled. Documents are not retained after withdrawal.
