This year in music class we are going to be very busy singing, playing, creating, and moving to music. Please do not hesitate to call or email me with questions or concerns.

This will be my second year teaching music at Shepard Hills Elementary School. I have my Bachelor of Arts in music from Carthage College, with my emphasis in general and instrumental music education. I love teaching using the Kodaly music teaching model, and recently completed a short study course at the Kodaly Institute, Franz Liszt Academy of Music.

When I'm not in the classroom I also enjoy teaching string workshops, volunteering for Amazing Kids! Magazine, and spending time with my collie Oakley!
