Here are a few quick tips for your child to help himself/herself be successful in fifth grade:

1. Ask questions when necessary in order to clarify newly introduced concepts
2. Memorize the single-digit multiplication facts and be able to recall them quickly for timed tests (This will help significantly with homework throughout the year as well!)
3. Read daily and discuss what you have read with a parent or older sibling on a regular basis
4. Complete and submit homework on time
5. Have fun!
