Community Facility Use Temporary Revisions for Fall 2020

To support safe community activity the school district will make facilities available on a limited basis until further notice.  To that end, the following parameters have been established: 

  • Access to Group #3 Users only - local community groups and non-profit organizations with at least 75% of organization members as residents of Oak Creek or families in the Oak Creek Franklin School District, be allowed limited access to school district facilities. 
  • One group reservation per facility each evening.  
  • Groups limited to one use each week.
  • No equipment will be available.  Any equipment will need to be provided by the user group.  
  • Group size will be limited to 20 people/site.
  • No spectators allowed.
  • Bleachers will be unavailable.
The following facilities will be available Monday- Friday 6:30 - 9:30pm
East Middle School Gym 
West Middle School Gym 
Forest Ridge Elementary Gym 

Timing and location will allow areas to be disinfected before and after community use including high touch areas (door knobs, handles, switches, faucets), and adjoining bathrooms.  It will also involve the replenishment of paper towels, soap and hand sanitizer. 

An additional COVID disclaimer has been added to the facility agreement.

Any persons using Oak Creek-Franklin School District facilities, agree to abide by guidelines and restrictions of state and local health officials existing at the time of their use of reserved facilities.  Any such persons knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks related to their exposure to COVID-19 or other contagious diseases while using such facilities and expressly agree to hold the Oak Creek-Franklin School District harmless and waive any claims against the Oak Creek-Franklin School District for any illness or injury that may result from their voluntary use of reserved facilities. 

Access will be reviewed regularly to open space as possible under the guidelines of the City of Oak Creek Health Department and School District.

  • Reservation requests must be submitted with a Facility Use Application.
  • A Certificate of Liability Insurance with the Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District listed as the Certificate Holder is required.
