Health Insurance
- Our health benefits program reflects our commitment to a healthy workforce. All employees and covered spouses who choose our health benefit plan, are offered the opportunity to complete a confidential Health Risk Assessment (HRA) questionnaire and a basic biometric screening.
- If an employee and/or covered spouse choose not to participate in the HRA and biometric screening, they will be charged an additional $80.00 per month in healthcare premiums for both the employee and covered spouse in the plan for a maximum of $160 per month if neither choose to participate.
- The HRA must be completed during the District's annual HRA event (normally scheduled the 3rd week of September each year).

Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)
A Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) is an employer funded account for employees that are eligible for Health insurance coverage through the District. It is designed to help pay for health premiums when you retire from the District at age 55 or over.
If you have five years of service with the District you may move your funds into other accounts that may earn more interest. The default account is a fixed account, so you are guaranteed to receive some interest.

MDI provides MRI, CT, Ultrasound and X-Ray services for our covered members at no cost to you!
- If you require imaging, please ask your provider to fax your order to one of MDI’s convenient locations.

Orthopaedic Hospital of WI
The District has entered into an agreement with Orthopaedic Hospitals of Wisconsin (OHOW) to allow you to have your orthopedic services provided by one of their physicians. All appointments leading up to surgery will be the customary out of pocket expenses. If it leads to surgery, then the surgery will be covered at 100%. To make this process as simple as possible, you or your dependents must contact us first and let us know you need to schedule an appointment to begin the process that may or may not lead to surgery. We then contact them and provide them your name and the issue. For example, if you are experiencing knee pain, and want to have it diagnosed, you should contact Troy and Sonia via email with a subject line OHOW. If you see that we are both out of the office, please contact Jill Bebeau via email with the same subject line.
