New Announcements

The 10th Grade Renaissance Eligibility List is now posted outside the Pupil Service Office and in the LMC. Please check this list for your name. If your name is not on this list and you believe that it should be, please see Mrs. Lochowicz in the Main Office no later than 3PM on Tuesday, February 27th. The award hand out for Sophomores will be on Monday, March 5th in Advisory.


Attention anyone interested in playing football next season. we are completing our 15th week of working out and it is time to measure our improvement since October. All players interested in playing football next season should get your max lifts in next week. If you are in another sport and you are still practicing then you can get yours in after the season, otherwise I look forward to seeing all of you and seeing the hard work you have put in come out in results.


Girls Basketball: Come cheer on the varsity girls basketball team this Friday and Saturday as they start their tournament run. Friday the girls take on Milwaukee Reagan, and Saturday they will take on the winner of Franklin/Riverside. Come pack the stands. Both games will be at 7:00pm. Go Knights!


Hey Anime Club! Since we had a snow day that cancelled our last meeting, our Food Day will be this Friday in room 137 from 3-4. Please bring the item you volunteered please remember to bring it. We are excited to see what you all come up with that follow the Anime Symbol theme!


ATTENTION ALL BOYS' GOLFERS! There will be a mandatory sign-up meeting (for any golfer that did not attend my earlier meeting during the Spring Athletics Night) on Thursday, March 1, in room 151 at 2:55 (it will last about 15-20 minutes). Try-outs begin Monday, March 26, and you must have a current physical exam on file to participate (turn them in to Mrs. Jerominski in the Pupil Services Office). Please contact Coach Thome if you have any questions.


Olf Announcements

OCHS Girls and Boys planning on joining the track and field team. Make sure you submit your paperwork to Ms. Jerominski, Athletic Secretary, in the Athletic Office within Pupil Services. In addition, your athletic fee needs to be paid and turned in to Ms. Jerominski as well. All forms and your fees need to be paid prior to March 5 so that you may begin practicing and be eligible to participate in the Indoor meets starting on March 16 at the Sheboygan North Invitational. Attention seniors! Check your student email for a fun, new scholarship opportunity! Tell us and your community why YOU are college or career ready by posting a 30-second video to Twitter and tagging @OCFSD and using the hashtag Redefining Ready. $2,000 will be awarded to one first place winner and $1,000 will be awarded to one runner-up. The deadline is Thursday, March 29th.


There is an unique opportunity to become part of the new peer tutoring program here at OCHS. Share your knowledge with fellow classmates by becoming a peer tutor after school Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:45 to 4pm. We are looking for students who excel in any school subject and are willing to explain it in understandable teen terms. If you are interested, come to meeting in room 162 on Thursday, February 22nd, at 3pm. Students helping students succeed.


ATTENTION EVERYONE: Relay for Life will be held Friday, June 1st. We are looking for cancer survivors to be recognized at this special event. Please contact Ava Lemke @ lemke_ava@yahoo.com or another Student Council Representative if you know anyone who would like to partake in this event. A representative from UW Parkside will be visiting OCHS on Friday, March 9, 2018 during 6th hour. Any junior or senior interested in meeting with this rep should sign up in the pupil services office.

Environmental Club members: meeting this week Thursday in room 251 after school. We must finalize plant sale materials- please be sure to research the flowers from the from on Google Classroom so that we can make those decisions! See Ms. Fowler with questions.


No students are to be in the building before 7:10 am unless they are under the direct supervision of a staff member. Per Administration


ATTN SPRING ATHLETES: If you did not attend the meeting with your parent, please stop in the Athletic Office and pick up forms to be completed BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF THE SEASON. If you aren't sure if you have a current physical on file, stop and see Mrs. Jerominski, she will be happy to let you know what is needed so you can start!
