Dear Senior Students,
As previously mentioned, in addition to rescheduling the graduation ceremony at Miller Park, we are creating a formal graduation ceremony using a virtual platform. We need your assistance with a very important photo.
Now that you have your cap and gown, we will need you to submit a photo. Because this picture will be used during the ceremony, it must follow guidelines as that of most formal pictures. If you already submitted a picture to Mr. Stock, and did NOT follow the guidelines below, the picture will need to be resubmitted. The photos you already sent will be saved and used for a different venue or slideshow.
Please do the following:
Send a vertical picture of just you in your cap and gown.
Wear your tassel to the left as it signifies you have completed all requirements.
Label the photo with your full, given name, and use the correct spelling.
Use your student email address to send your photo.
Send the email to email@example.com by June 15 (no late exceptions).
Other photo tips:
Be mindful of what you are wearing under your gown as this will be visible in the picture.
Make sure you are the only person in the picture.
Pictures are taken best in well-lit areas with the light source BEHIND the photographer.
Preview the background to ensure it is appropriate and that you are the only one in the photo.
SMILE:), it is your special day.
Because creating a viable virtual platform takes a lot of time, the photo due date is a hard deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted and your senior yearbook photo will be used in its place.
All cords, sashes, and cowls will be available for pick-up during Chromebook/Textbook Return on June 8 and 9. If you want to wait to send your picture until you have these items, feel free to do so as long as we receive your photo by June 15.
Congratulations Class of 2020 Banners will be hung at each elementary school and at OCHS by June 1. We are proud of your accomplishments!
Please view the two examples using correct guidelines.
