TELEPHONE CALLS FROM PARENTS/GUARDIANS TO REPORT TARDINESS

Occasionally there may be an extenuating circumstance for a student to report tardy to school. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to call the school attendance office prior to the student reporting to school. As an alternative, the parent may accompany the student into the school upon his/her arrival. Please state your student’s name and the reason for the tardiness. This tardiness will be excused. Tardiness not phoned in by a parent/guardian is unexcused. Notes will not be accepted. Tardiness not taken care of in the above manner will not be excused. Students arriving late to school with an excused tardiness should report directly to the attendance secretary who will issue an excused pass to go to class. This also applies to students arriving late due to a late school bus.
