Nondiscrimination and Anti-Harassment

The Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District does not discriminate on the basis of race, color,
religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other basis prohibited by law and prohibits
discrimination, including harassment, in any education program or activity that it operates. The
District’s Nondiscrimination policies can be found in Board Policies 410 and 511, and the
District’s Anti-Harassment policies can be found in Board Policies 411 and 512.


The District has designated the following individuals as the District’s Compliance Officers to
coordinate efforts to comply with and carry out its nondiscrimination and anti-harassment
responsibilities, and questions regarding the District’s nondiscrimination commitments, as well
as related laws, regulations, and District policies, may be referred to the following designated

Retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, makes a report of harassment or discrimination, files a complaint of harassment or discrimination, serves as a witness, or participates in an
investigation or grievance process is also a violation of the District’s nondiscrimination policy
and is prohibited.


Any person who wishes to make a complaint of discrimination or harassment in the District’s
education program or activity may contact the District’s Compliance Officer(s) and/or may fill out
a Discrimination and/or Harassment Report Form and return to the District’s Compliance
Officer(s).

 

NONDISCRIMINATION ON THE BASIS OF SEX

The Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District does not discriminate on the basis sex, including
on the basis of sex stereotypes, sex characteristics, pregnancy or related conditions, sexual
orientation, and gender identity, in any education program or activity that it operates. The
District complies with Title IX and its implementing regulations and the District’s Title IX policy
can be found in Board Policy 300.

Inquiries about Title IX may be referred to the District’s Title IX Coordinators, the U.S.
Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, or both. The District has designated the

Additionally, to report information about conduct that may constitute sex discrimination, including sex-based harassment, or to make a complaint of sex discrimination, please contact the District’s Title IX Coordinator(s) and/or fill out a Title IX Complaint Form and provide the Title IX Complaint to the District’s Title IX Coordinator(s).
