K-8 Course Descriptions

Grades K5-3

Students who will be in 5-year-old kindergarten-grade 3 in September 2026.

• Location: Forest Ridge Elementary (2200 W. Drexel Ave.)
• Period 1: 7:45 - 9:45 am
• Period 2: 9:45 - 11:45 am
• Doors Open at 7:40 am

Grades 4-8

Students who will be in grades 4-8 in September 2026.

• Location: East Middle School (9330 S. Shepard Ave.)
• Period 1: 8:15 -10:15 am
• Period 2: 10:15 am - 12:15 pm
• Doors open at 8:10 am

Important Dates

February 27: Course descriptions available

March 4-25: select courses in Infinite Campus*

April 10: schedules available in Infinite Campus

April 13-17: select courses via Google Form for classes not yet full

• March 4-25 is the preferred time to make course selections. Some classes will NOT be available after March 25. No students will be added to classes after April 17.

Parents of current OCFSD students will automatically have access to summer school course selection in their Infinite Campus Parent Portal from March 4-25.

If your child does not attend an OCFSD school AND you live in the district boundary, then you will need to complete the enrollment process each year for your child to attend summer school. You will be given access to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal after enrollment is complete. Visit ocfsd.org/enroll
