Vaping Awareness Event for Parents and Students in Grades 6-12

Recently, there has been a national conversation about the use of e-cigarettes, or "vaping."  We want to invite you to a local conversation.

The seriousness of the youth vaping epidemic has prompted us to team up with the Oak Creek Health Department and Oak Creek Police Department to host a vaping awareness event for our families. Dare to Know: The Truth About Vaping, Juuling, and Your Child is a free event designed for parents and students in grades 6-12. The event will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2019, 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm at the Oak Creek Assembly of God. Child care will be available for the event.

The program will include a presentation by keynote speaker Dr. Charlene Gaebler-Uhing, MD, MHPE a board-certified Pediatric Adolescent Health Medicine Provider, who cares for teens and youth adults at the Children's Hospital of WI Teen Health Clinic.
