4K Site Assignment

Below are the boundary areas for student placement.

4K site placement will be based on the home address attendance boundary or child care provider's address, if requested. An alternate placement is for 4K only and based on available space in the classroom. District busing is available only within the attendance boundary area.

AM and PM placement is based on available space in the classroom, family/student need, and transportation request.
Section placement is not first-come-first-serve. All placement requests are reviewed, but are not guaranteed.

What's Next for 4K?

After Step 1 and Step 2 of the enrollment process are complete, the following will occur:

4K Placement: 2026-2027

Enrollment is complete after the required documents are brought to the District Office. All 4K students with completed enrollment will be assigned per the following placement schedule:

Completed enrollment received by May 15 will be assigned on June 5
Completed enrollment received by July 24 will be assigned on August 14
Completed enrollment received after July 24 will be assigned after August 14

Teacher/Classroom Assignments

Your child's teacher/classroom assignment will be available to view in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal on August 14, 2026, after 5pm.

Annual Check-In Registration

In July, all families in the district must complete the mandatory Annual Check-in registration process.
This includes families of 4K students enrolled between February 1 - June 30, 2026. To complete this process, a parent/legal guardian in the student’s primary household must verify that the information you previously provided to the district is current. You will receive more information about the Annual Check-in in June.

2025-2026 School Year

4K OPEN HOUSE
Open House is August 26 at your child’s assigned school. Attending the Open House is an opportunity for you and your child to visit their new classroom and meet the teacher.

AM Students may visit between 5:30-6:15pm
PM Students may visit between 6:15-7:00pm

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: Staggered Start Week
The 4K program will have a staggered start for the first week of school. Please note, there is no district busing on these 3 days; parents will provide their own transportation.

Last names A-L will attend August 31 & September 1
Last Names M-Z will attend September 2 & 3
All 4K students will attend on September 4

The first full week of school for 4K begins on September 7, with district bus transportation. Your 4K student's bus transportation request must be confirmed during the mandatory Annual Check-in registration process in July by choosing “Yes” or “No” to the transportation request question.
4K students will not be assigned to a bus route without a confirmed “Yes” to the transportation request question during the Annual Check-in process.
