**District Transportation requests will be arranged through the Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District and provided by GoRiteway Transportation.

All other options will need to be arranged by the parent for transportation provided privately by the childcare center.

                                                                   

1- Standard size backpack - large enough to hold a folder, change of clothes, and projects, NO WHEELS (labeled with child’s name)

1- Change of clothes - include socks and underwear, clothes should be appropriate for the season and kept in the backpack (labeled with child’s name)

1- Folder - two pocket, plastic-coated  (labeled with child’s name)

1- Box of Kleenex tissues

1- Large glue stick

1- Bottle of glue

1- Refill packages of baby wipes

1- Box washable markers (Crayola, 8 count, classic colors)

1- Box of crayons (Crayola, 24 count)

1- Box sandwich  size Zip Lock storage bags (AM Class)

1 - Box of gallon size Zip Lock storage bags (PM Class)

1- Container of disinfecting wipes (AM Class)

1 - Bottle of pump hand soap (PM Class)

After the online portion of enrollment is complete and the required documents have been brought into the District Office, the following will occur.

School Placements

• All applications received between 3/16 and 5/1 will be reviewed and families will be notified of school placement by 5/11.

• All applications received between 5/4 and 6/12 will be reviewed and families will be notified of school placement by 6/22.

• All applications received between 6/15 and 7/31 will be reviewed and families will be notified of school placement by 8/10.

• Any applications received after 8/3 will be reviewed in a timely fashion and students will be placed based on availability in buildings. Families will be notified as soon as possible.

Teacher/Classroom Assignments

You will receive an email notification when your child's teacher/classroom assignment will be available to view in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal in August.

Annual Check-In

In July, you will be asked to complete the annual online registration process. To complete this process, parents/guardians in a student’s primary household (the household used to determine residency) are asked to verify that the information you provided during enrollment is correct. You will receive more information about online registration over the summer.

Important Dates

4K OPEN HOUSE: August 26, 2020, 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.

Open house is an opportunity for you and your child to visit their classroom and meet their teacher.  There will not be any formal presentation so come anytime between 5:00-6:30 pm.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: STAGGERED START DATES

September 1, 2, or 3

AM Session: 9:00 - 11:30 a.m.

PM Session: 12:20 - 2:50 p.m.

Your child will be assigned a staggered start date on either September 1, 2, or 3.  You will be notified of the specific date by August 3, 2020. Your child will attend their session on one of the dates only.  This day will be used for teaching routines, acclimating to the school environment, and getting to know other children in a small group setting. THERE WILL BE NO BUSING PROVIDED ON THIS DAY.  Busing will begin on Tuesday, September 8 for all 4K students who are signed up for transportation.

All 4K students will begin school on Tuesday, September 8 at their assigned time and site.
