Round 2 of K-8 Summer School course selection is officially open!

OCFSD is on a mission to become a Special Olympics Unified Champion School. This initiative is designed to create lasting, positive change by fostering an inclusive environment where students with disabilities are fully integrated into school life.

Join us on May 2 for an evening filled with delicious food, vibrant performances, henna art, music, and so much more!

The spring weather has us all dreaming of summer! We're excited to announce that our 2025 K-8 Summer School program course descriptions are now available.

We have limitless opportunities for passionate people to inspire, support, and set students up for success. You don’t need prior teaching experience—just a desire to help students become the best versions of themselves.

Enrollment for our next class of future Knights begins with the District’s 1-Day Enrollment Fair on March 17, 2025!

Carter Struebing, a 2023 graduate of Oak Creek High School (OCHS), always had an interest in firefighting. However, it wasn’t until a conversation with his high school counselor that he learned about MATC’s dual enrollment program, which allows high school seniors to take college-level courses while still in school.

Oak Creek High School is hosting an Open House for incoming freshmen (current 8th-grade students) on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at the Ninth Grade Center (NGC) at Oak Creek High School. During the open house, guests can tour the building and meet members of the high school staff. More details of the event will be shared in the coming weeks.

An election is to be held in the Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

Mark your calendars! The Board of Education approved the 2025-26 school year calendar.

For the 2023-2024 school year, OCFSD is in the EXCEEDS Expectations category with a score of 70.9.

Our neighbors at Franklin Public Schools are hosting a family info series - Childhood 2.0. All are welcome to attend.

OCFSD is offering FREE Developmental Screenings for children ages 2 years & 9 months - 5 years old. Registration and proof of residency is required. 

OCFSD takes the safety of all students and staff very seriously.  We believe discussing safety over the entire month of October is warranted not just during school safety week.  See this safety letter from Dan Thielen, Superintendent, and David Stecker, Oak Creek Chief of Police. 

Congratulations to the following businesses for being recognized as recipients of the WASB Honor Roll: Boldt Company, The Ridge Community Church, Educators Credit Union, Chick-Fil-A, and South Suburban Chamber of Commerce.

The OCFSD IT team plays a crucial role in preparing for the upcoming school year by cleaning and repairing thousands of devices.

On November 5, 2024, Oak Creek-Franklin residents will have the opportunity to vote on a community-based plan to replace the only pool in the community (a 62-year-old pool) with a new community pool and a competition pool that would provide aquatic opportunities for all.
