Business Honor Roll Logo

The Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) Business Honor Roll recognizes outstanding local businesses that support their schools. Congratulations to the following businesses and organizations for being recognized as recipients of the WASB Honor Roll.  Thank you for supporting our vision of Building Successful Futures TOGETHER!

Anodyne Coffee Roasting Company – Anodyne Coffee Roasting Company has a strong partnership with OCHS and has shown dedicated support of our Knights’ Café, a student-run coffee shop that is part of the school’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. Representatives from Anodyne visited OCHS to work directly with students running the cafe. They provide hands-on training to help students get familiar with the coffee equipment. Anodyne’s support has been instrumental in helping the Knights’ Café flourish as both a learning opportunity and a thriving student enterprise. We are grateful for Anodyne’s continued involvement and proud to recognize them for helping prepare our students for success beyond the classroom and for fulfilling OCHS with all of their coffee needs throughout the year.

Georgie Porgies

Georgie Porgies – Georgie Porgies has consistently demonstrated its commitment to giving back. From generous custard donations that add a sweet touch to school events to hosting countless fundraisers that benefit school PTOs, student clubs, and district-wide initiatives, their impact is far-reaching and deeply appreciated. One of the most meaningful contributions Georgie Porgies has made is through their support of Project ADAM, an initiative that helps provide AEDs for heart-safe schools. Their involvement ensures our schools are better equipped to respond in emergencies, ultimately creating a safer environment for students, staff, and visitors alike. Georgie Porgies’ unwavering dedication to our schools exemplifies the spirit of community partnership.

OCLions

Oak Creek Lions Club – Oak Creek Lions Club has provided outstanding support and service to the Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District. The Lions Club’s impact on our schools is both broad and meaningful. Their financial contributions have directly improved the safety of our schools, including support for the gate/bollard project and parking lot improvements at East Middle School. The Lions Club regularly supports student groups, such as OCHS Knights Racing and the Snowflake Dance for students with special needs. Additionally, the Lions Club provided free eye exams during our 4K Enrollment Fair, ensuring our youngest learners have access to the vision care they need to succeed from the start. We are grateful for their continued partnership and proud to recognize their lasting contributions to the well-being and success of our students and school community.

Business Honor Roll

Oak Creek Optimist Club – Oak Creek Optimist Club has shown exceptional and ongoing support for our school district. Their commitment to uplifting and celebrating our students is both meaningful and impactful. Members of the Optimist Club visit each of our schools to honor students selected as “Youth of the Month.” These presentations help shine a spotlight on students who demonstrate leadership, integrity and service. In addition to the certificate of recognition, the Club generously provides a sweet treat to each honoree, making the moment even more memorable for our students. This year, they provided a generous donation to our FIRST LEGO League Team 38663, the Pengweenies, helping the team travel to New Jersey and compete at the prestigious American Robotics Invitational.
