The Clerk of the Oak Creek-Franklin Board of Education hereby provides notice that Board Member Elizabeth Sparks has submitted a letter of resignation effective June 25, 2018 and in accordance with Board Policy 133, “...any qualified elector of the District who is eligible to fill the specific vacancy may contact the District [Office at 7630 South 10th Street, Oak Creek WI, 53154 or firstname.lastname@example.org] to submit a letter of application and a sworn declaration of eligibility to express an interest in being appointed.”
The deadline to submit a letter of application and sworn declaration of eligibility has been extended to Thursday, July 5, 2018, at 4:30 p.m. Documents must be submitted to the Clerk of the Board via the District Office at the address listed above during regular business hours which are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tentatively, interviews of applicants shall be held on Tuesday, July 10, time to be determined based upon on the number of applicants. Applicants will be contacted, but please check the legal notices on the district website to confirm this date which is subject to change. The Board anticipates, filling this vacancy no later than July 23, 2018.
